Product Overview
Tech-Bond Poly Prep is the polymer surface conditioning component of the Tech-Bond Molecular Bonding System. It prepares polymer surfaces for permanent bonding by removing contaminants and conditioning the surface to improve bonding performance.
Many polymers naturally resist adhesion due to low surface energy. Poly Prep solves this problem by properly conditioning the polymer surface so the Tech-Bond bonding agents and catalyst can form permanent molecular bonds.
When used as part of the Tech-Bond system, Poly Prep enables reliable bonding across a wide range of thermoplastic polymers.
Why Surface Preparation Matters
Polymer surfaces are often contaminated with:
• Mold release agents

• Oils and environmental contamination
