Basic Kits are very popular with maintenance people, handymen and the Amish. With our Basic Kits you can repair or bond almost all substrates. evert thing except polymers. With a Basic kit, you receive your choice of one of our Bonding Agents, our catalyst, the Activator/Accelerator and our Filler, a silica sand compound. With one of our Bonding Agents and the catalyst, or the Filler, you can molecularly integrate almost any substrate.
SI Blue is our standard viscosity, all purpose Bonding Agent. Slightly thicker than the cyanoacrylates typically purchased in stores. It’s that greater thickness that makes it much easier to use than most over-the-counter products.
The thicker SI Black formula gives you more control, especially when precision matters. It can fill most small gaps, though polymers generally do not gap fill well—so, with polymrs, gap filling is not recommended.
SI Green is our ultra-thin cyanoacrylate. Not really recommended for everyday use, our SI Green is ideal for wicking, for sealing hairline cracks.
Basic Kits do not include Poly Prep, so they are not for bonding polymers. These kits are great for handling almost all simple repairs. Choose SI Blue when you need fast, clean results with easy handling.
