Poly Prep is a fast-acting solvent-based adhesion promoter that etches the surface of low surface energy polymers — such as HDPE, PTFE, nylon, and polypropylene — to create the right texture for bonding. It should be applied as the first step before any bonding agent is used on difficult polymer substrates to significantly increase bond strength.

SI Blue is the standard thin-medium viscosity for general-purpose polymer bonding. SI Black is a thicker formula offering greater application control, ideal for overhead or precision bonding. All SI Bonding Agent formulas should be stored in a refrigerator to achieve the longest shelf life. Before use, bring the product back to room temperature. This refrigerator storage recommendation applies to all kit variants — Starter, Basic, Deluxe, and Professional — and ensures the bonding agent retains full chemical efficacy until needed.

The Debonder is a precision-grade solvent that dissolves and removes cured Tech-Bond bonding agents from surfaces, parts, tools, and skin. It is used during rework, corrections of accidental over-application, or disassembly of incorrectly bonded joints. For complete separation of bonded joints, immersion in acetone may be required and can take a day or more.
