The Poly Prep adhesion promoter is required as a pre-treatment for most polymer surfaces before applying the SI Bonding Agent.

SI Blue is a thin-to-medium standard viscosity suited for general bonding tasks. SI Black is a thicker formula offering greater application control for precision or overhead work. Yes. Tech-Bond's Debonder is a precision-grade solvent designed to dissolve and remove cured bonding agents from surfaces, parts, tools, and skin. It is suitable for correcting accidental over-application, disassembling incorrectly bonded joints, and cleaning workspaces. For complete separation of bonded joints, immersion in acetone may be required and can take up to 24 hours or more.

All SI Bonding Agent kits — including Starter, Basic, Deluxe, Poly, Professional, and Industry Kits — should be stored in a refrigerator to achieve the longest possible shelf life. Before use, bring the product back to room temperature. Poly Prep and other solvent-based components should be stored in a cool, dry place as per standard safety guidelines.
