SI Blue is a standard thin-medium viscosity suitable for general-purpose bonding. SI Black offers a thicker consistency for applications requiring greater precision and control, such as overhead or vertical surfaces. SI Green is ultra-thin and specifically designed for penetrating and repairing hairline cracks in polymers and plastics where other viscosities cannot reach.

For difficult low surface energy polymers such as HDPE, PTFE, nylon, polypropylene, and silicone rubber, Poly Prep is an essential pre-treatment step. It chemically etches the surface to create the right texture for adhesion. Skipping it on these materials will significantly reduce bond strength. The Deluxe Kit and Professional Kit are both designed for technicians. The Deluxe Kit (DEL-KIT) includes a Bonding Agent, Accelerator, Poly Prep, and Filler, while the Professional Kit adds a Debonder for full lifecycle control. All SI Bonding Agents — SI Blue, SI Black, and SI Green — should be stored in a refrigerator to achieve the longest possible shelf life. Before use, bring the product back to room temperature. Proper cold storage prevents premature curing and ensures the bonding agent remains effective across all applications, from small repairs to high-volume industrial use.

Tech-Bond's Debonder is a precision-grade solvent that effectively breaks down cured bonding agents without damaging most surfaces. It can be used to clean up adhesive drips, remove residue from tools and workspaces, or fully disassemble incorrectly bonded joints. For complete separation, immersing bonded joints in acetone may be required and can take up to a day or more.
