Yes. For low surface energy polymers like HDPE, PTFE, nylon, and polypropylene, Tech-Bond's Poly Prep Adhesion Promoter is an essential pre-treatment step. It etches the polymer surface to create the correct texture for strong bonding. Skipping this step can significantly reduce bond strength on difficult substrates.
