Tech-Bond's process creates a true molecular bond by cross-linking polymer surfaces at the molecular level, resulting in a permanent, high-strength connection that is often stronger than the original material — not simply held together by adhesive.

SI Blue is the standard thin-medium viscosity for general-purpose bonding tasks. SI Black is a thicker formula that provides greater application control, ideal for precision or overhead repairs. SI Green is ultra-thin and specifically designed for repairing hairline cracks where deep penetration into fine fractures is required.

Tech-Bond kits are engineered to bond a wide range of challenging substrates including PTFE (Teflon), HDPE, Delrin (POM), nylon, polypropylene, silicone rubber, metal, and composite materials. These are materials that conventional adhesives typically cannot bond reliably or permanently.

The Professional Kit includes an SI Bonding Agent (choice of SI Blue, SI Black, or SI Green), Poly Prep surface preparation solution, Activator/Accelerator, Filler for gap reinforcement, and a Debonder for controlled removal. This all-in-one system covers the full bonding lifecycle for field and shop applications.

All Tech-Bond bonding kits and SI Bonding Agents should be stored in a refrigerator to maximize shelf life and maintain product efficacy. Before use, allow the product to return to room temperature. Poly Prep adhesion promoter, being solvent-based, should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
