Yes. Tech-Bond's patented Polymer Bonding Process enables permanent molecular-level bonds on PTFE (Teflon) and HDPE — materials traditionally considered impossible to bond. The Deluxe Kits and Professional Kits both include Poly Prep surface preparation and Activator/Accelerator components specifically designed to prepare and bond these difficult substrates.

The Tech Patch Repair System (TPRS) uses PTFE-coated E-glass fabric patches and wraps available in 7 widths from 2" to 12" to repair damaged or leaking metal pipes, metal tanks, and PVC pipes. It is the only repair system proven to work on HDPE pipe globally, validated by a successful 78-inch HDPE pipe repair for Borouge in Abu Dhabi.

The Professional Kit includes a choice of SI Blue, SI Black, or SI Green Bonding Agent, Poly Prep for surface preparation, an Activator/Accelerator, Filler for gap reinforcement, and a Debonder for clean removal if needed. It is engineered for field and shop use on challenging substrates including Delrin, PTFE, HDPE, rubber, metal, and composites.

All Tech-Bond bonding kits — including Starter, Basic, Deluxe, Poly, and Professional Kits — should be stored in a refrigerator to achieve the longest possible shelf life. Before use, bring the kit components back to room temperature to ensure optimal viscosity and bonding performance. Proper storage prevents premature curing or degradation of the bonding agents.
