Hard Surface Repair Kits

Tech-Bond Global kits are engineered to repair and bond a wide range of surfaces including PTFE (Teflon), HDPE, Delrin (POM), polypropylene, rubber, silicone, metal, PVC, wood composites, and general polymers and plastics. The Professional Kit specifically covers the broadest material range, including metal and composite assemblies for industrial applications.

For hairline cracks, use the SI Green ultra-thin bonding agent, which wicks into fine cracks through capillary action. Apply Poly Prep for surface preparation, introduce the SI Green bonding agent, then use the Accelerator to cure. For wider cracks or gaps, SI Blue or SI Black with a Filler component reinforces the repair. The Professional or Deluxe Kit includes all necessary components.

Cracked Corian, a solid acrylic polymer surface, can be repaired using the SI Green ultra-thin formula from Tech-Bond Global's Starter, Basic, or Deluxe Kits. Prepare the surface with Poly Prep, apply SI Green into the crack, and activate with the Accelerator. For deeper cracks, use SI Blue with the Filler for gap reinforcement. The bond becomes permanent at the molecular level.

SI Blue is a standard thin-to-medium viscosity formula suitable for general-purpose bonding and repairs. SI Black is a thicker viscosity agent providing greater control for precision, overhead, or detailed applications. SI Green is an ultra-thin formula specifically engineered to penetrate and repair hairline cracks. All three viscosities are available across multiple kit lines.

All Tech-Bond Global bonding kits should be stored in a refrigerator to maximize shelf life and maintain product performance. Before use, bring the kit to room temperature. Proper storage ensures the bonding agents retain their viscosity characteristics and chemical effectiveness across all three formula types: SI Blue, SI Black, and SI Green.
