Strategic Partners understand that the Need & the Demand
for both the Process & TPRS exists!
Global’s vision for our strategic partnerhships is below.
Strategic Partners
Looking to build, with Strategic Partners,
a Global Keystone Network
based on the twin principles of:
Precision, Performance, and Permanence & Engagement, Experience and Execution.
WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE
The Back Story
In November 2016, something extraordinary happened: two polymer surfaces—torn polyurethane from a bumper cover—were bonded together using what would become the Polymer Bonding Process. A notoriously difficult challenge, the bond formed in seconds. Full structural strength took 24 hours, but operational strength was reached within minutes.
After a 16-year pursuit to permanently bond polymers, the implications were immediately clear. If this Process worked across the wide spectrum of available polymers as it had on that bumper, it would change everything. It has. From thermoplastics to thermosets to elastomers, the Process consistently delivers. With elastomers, it even allows for elongation and flexibility—essential for structural integrity.
But breakthrough technology alone isn’t enough. To realize the full potential of this discovery, we need the right partners—globally. People and institutions with reach, vision, and the willingness to lead with something new.
The Pipeline and Pipe Repair Markets
In 2016, I knew little about the pipeline industry—only that water pipes broke from time to time. We started by researching two things:
-
What the Process could and couldn’t do.
-
Whether a flexible polymer existed that was completely impervious to gasoline.
We discovered that the core principles of the Process worked across nearly every polymer. Some, like polyethylene, were easier to bond than polyurethane. Others, such as platinum-cured silicone rubber, presented greater challenges.
The search for a gasoline-resistant polymer eventually led us to PTFE-coated E-glass fabric—the material that enabled the creation of Tech Wraps and ultimately launched our Services department.
A turning point came in spring 2023, when Borouge, based in Abu Dhabi, contacted us. They needed to repair cracks in 78″ HDPE pipe. Their global search found one company whose product failed. We stepped in and told them TPRS would work. And it did—surpassing expectations. The repair using TPRS was stronger than the original HDPE pipe.
A Critical Fact
Strategic Partners needed to understant that, across the globe, TPRS is the only repair system that works on HDPE pipe. Every other solution fails—either immediately or over time. TPRS doesn’t just restore function; it strengthens the pipe.
Our Tech Wraps, made from proprietary PTFE-coated E-glass fabric, outperform fiberglass in every category: mechanical, chemical, and physical. In Abu Dhabi, another proprietary Tech-Bond product was also used to help restore structural integrity. That solution was key to making the repaired pipe stronger than new. For more, read the Abu Dhabi Report under “Engineering Reports” on this site.
The Need and the Demand
When Abu Dhabi called, we knew we had the only technology that could bond polymers. But we didn’t yet understand the full scope of demand within the pipeline industry. Now we do.
Testing has proven that Tech Wraps extend the life of steel, cement, polypropylene, and nylon pipes as well. Composite wraps fail quickly in harsh environments. In contrast, a single layer of Tech Wrap on a steel pipe endured 1,000 hours of ASTM B-117 salt spray testing—equivalent to 10 years in the harshest marine conditions—with no rust and no delamination.
The U.S. Navy spends $7 billion annually on rust prevention and mitigation. They are aware of Tech-Bond and TPRS. We hope to soon present the benefits directly to their decision-makers.
Now, How Large is the Demand
In the venture capital world, the key question is: What is the Total Available Market (TAM)?
Our estimate: TPRS addresses a $2 billion+ annual market opportunity.
Much of that is HDPE repair—and remember, TPRS is the only system that works. It is also the most durable option for all pipe substrates. This TAM figure does not even include the enormous costs of downtime, which often exceed repair costs.
With that level of demand, one thing is clear: WE KNOW THAT WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE.
The Plan.
At Tech-Bond Global, innovation was the beginning. , the spark. The real challenge, and the real opportunity, is turning that spark into a world-changing enterprise. We know we can’t do that alone. To succeed, we must build strategic partnerships; with the right people, the right institutions, and the right collaborators. These relationships will not only help us scale; they will help us evolve.
Our partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Indian School of Mines (IIT ISM), Dhanbad is one such cornerstone. Together, we are creating the Tech-Bond Global Center for Excellence:
-
A Training and certification hub
-
A product development incubator
-
A scientific validation lab for breakthrough performance claims
This partnership represents the model we seek:: aligned values, mutual commitment, and measurable impact.
The Question is Who? Who do We Want to Work With?
We are actively seeking strategic partners around the world—people and organizations who bring:
-
Industry knowledge and trusted networks
-
Vision to identify new uses for our technology
-
Initiative to shape their own opportunity
-
Credibility in business, academia, or engineering
Whether you’re part of a global firm, a technical college, or operating independently—if you can help extend the reach and performance of Tech-Bond, we want to hear from you.
– If you’re interested in investing or distributing—great.
– If you just want to make a key introduction—that’s critical too.
We Are a Keystone Enterprise
We are building a Keystone Enterprise:
-
One that solves core problems across industries
-
One that elevates training, precision, and permanence
-
One that invites cooperation, not control
Our vision is fixed, but our model is flexible. We’re open to anything that makes us better, faster, stronger, or more effective.
We are not looking for passengers.
We’re looking for people with purpose.
Let’s Connect
If you see the opportunity, let’s start the conversation.
We welcome introductions, discussions, and ideas from any region, all regions, of the world.
