Mini-Pack for the repair of Multiple Gas Tanks | Plastic or Metal

Tech-bond’s Mini-Packs are for those service organizations who need to repair gas tanks, on a regularly basis. Not everyday, but a couple times a week.

Radiator shops regularly have gas and plastic tanks, so do bus and truck terminals. Most of the tanks that need replaced are plastic. It is difficult to find a replacement gas tank and, if you do, these tanks have become very expensive. Our Tech Patches are a proven technology and often, will save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.

Mini-Packs

In our Mini-Packs, you will find the patch/wrap material, the PTFE coated e-glass fabric and the chemicals needed to apply the patch. These chemicals include: the catalyst which is the Activator/Accelerator, our Poly Prep, the surface etch for polymers, the SI Black, the thicker Bonding Agent needed to apply a patch and a glue squeegee(s). The glue squeegee is a spreader and is used to apply pressure on the patch and to create the Poly Shield which forms a protective layer for the patch.

In addition, what the end user needs to bring is a heat source, most often a heat gun or hair dryer. In some cases a heat tunnerl may be used. The tag line for the Tech Patch Repai System (TPRS™) is “Precision • Performance • Permanence. By the time that someone has applied four or five of our patches, he or she is proficient and can handle 90% of the patch applications. There are unique situations that always arise.
