Tech-Bond’s Poly Prep prepares the surface of hard-to-bond polymers fast. It etches the surface, creating the right texture for strong, permanent bonds.

Many adhesives fail on slick plastics like HDPE, PTFE, silicone rubber, nylon, PTFE and polypropylene. Surface etching helps to change that. Etching breaks down the surface to help make that surface ready for bonding.

It is important to use the Poly Prep correctly. Best practice is to saturate the polymer surface(s).  Make the surface wet.  Let dry.  Since this surface etch is a solvent, it dries quickly.  You can move to the next step right after drying occurs.
