How Tech-Bond Kits Work
All Tech-Bond Kits initiate an exothermic chemical reaction which results in the bonding of the two surfaces. Depending on the materials involved, this reaction produces one of two outcomes:
- Cross-linking when a polymer is involved
- Covalent bonding when joining metals, rubber, wood, china, leather, vinyl, and other non-polymer substrates
In both cases, the result is significantly more durable than joins created by epoxies or acrylics. Because the two surfaces either cross-link or form a true chemical bond, the joint resists moisture, fuels, creep, and delamination.
Storage and Shelf Life
To maximize shelf life, store your Tech-Bond Kit in your refrigerator. Before use, simply bring the Kit back to room temperature. When stored properly, a Tech-Bond Kit will remain usable for years.

Money-Back Guarantee
All Tech-Bond Kits are backed by a money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied, we will refund your purchase price.
Starter Kit
The Starter Kit bonds almost everything except polymers. It is a versatile, everyday solution for common repairs.
In fact, most Amish families in Ohio keep either a Starter Kit or a Poly Kit on hand to repair anything that breaks—including shoes and boots. Because Tech-Bond bonds flexible materials permanently, repairs made to shoes, boots, coats, and similar items remain flexible after curing.
Key principle: use the least amount of Bonding Agent possible. With Tech-Bond, less is better.
Poly Kit
The Poly Kit permanently repairs/bonds almost anything, including polymers (plastics). When you have a Poly Kit, you are ready for virtually any repair.
As with all Tech-Bond Kits, keep it cool when stored. Proper storage allows the Poly Kit to perform reliably over many repairs.
Poly Plus Kits
Poly Plus Kits are designed for volume users—those who make repairs frequently. These Kits deliver three times the coverage at less than twice the price, providing exceptional value for high-use environments.
Deluxe Kits
Deluxe Kits include everything found in the Poly Kit—SI Bonding Agent, Catalyst, and Poly Prep—and add the Filler.
While the Filler is not required for most repairs, when needed it performs exceptionally well. It fills cracks, voids, and stripped screw holes, restoring strength and usability.
Professional Kits
Professional Kits builds on the Deluxe Kits by adding an essential tool whenever you are bonding. This is the Debonder, the cleaner and dissolver—the best “undo” available for Bonding Agents. The Debonder is invaluable for managing spills or removing unintended adhesive.
Ultra Kits
Ultra Kits are designed for high-volume users who want maximum value. They deliver more material and reinforce a key Tech-Bond principle: a single drop covers a surprising amount of surface area.
Ultra Kits are among our most frequently ordered options.
Ultimate Kits
Ultimate Kits provide twice the adhesive of the Ultra Kit and add a Debonder to the Poly Prep and Catalyst.
These Kits are ideal for companies—or individuals—working across a wide range of materials and substrates.
