Our 3″ wide Tech Patches and Tech Wraps use PTFE-coated E-glass fabric. This material combines the strength and heat resistance of E-glass with the chemical resistance and low friction of PTFE. We treat the fabric using Tech-Bond’s proprietary activation process. This process permanently changes the surface energy. As a result, the fabric bonds directly to metals, HDPE, polypropylene, and other hard-to-bond surfaces. No sanding, priming, or fasteners are needed. The material stays strong, flexible, and reliable in tough environments. It’s ideal for repairs, insulation, containment, and reinforcement.
